The short-term loan system at Access Tech provides quick and flexible access to Assistive Technology (AT) devices
Ideal for temporary needs or trial periods. Here’s how it would function:
1. Browse and Select Equipment
After you’ve discussed with your Allied Health team what Assistive Technology (AT) device will help you live the life you choose. Browse available AT devices online and choose the equipment best suited to their needs.
2. Choose Loan Duration
Short-term loans offer flexible rental durations, ranging from one to three weeks, providing access to essential AT without a long-term commitment.
3. Pickup or Delivery
Once confirmed, the chosen device can either be picked up at a partner location (e.g., NovitaTech or St Giles Tech) or delivered directly.
4. Utilise Support During Loan
Access Tech’s support team is available throughout the loan period to help with setup or any troubleshooting, ensuring the device works seamlessly.
5. Return or Extend the Loan
At the end of the loan period, the participant can either return the AT or, if further use is needed, request an extension (subject to availability).
