Assistive technology can be funded through a range of sources

Funding sources include:

  • Personal or private funds
  • The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
  • Via the Department for Communities and Social Inclusion (DCSI)
  • Via the Lifetime Support Authority

Assistive technology can also be paid for directly by parents, carers or individuals with disability.

You can pay for your Access Tech order using your NDIS Funds through our website. Find instructions on how to pay using each of the NDIS plan types below.

We are a Registered NDIS Service Provider and can process orders using your NDIS Funds.

Firstly, add the items to your cart that you’d like to purchase. From there, go to your cart and select the ‘Proceed to checkout’ button. You’ll then be able to find all the below options in the payment section.

NDIS plan types

  • Plan Managed

    Access Tech can send your Plan Manager an invoice for you. You can place an order online through us by:

    1. At checkout, fill out your standard information – including billing and shipping details.
    2. Select Pay using NDIS Funds as your payment method and enter your NDIS Participant details.
    3. Select the Plan-managed option and enter your Plan Manager’s details.
    4. Click the place order button at the end of the checkout page.
    5. We will send an invoice to your Plan Manager to request payment.
    6. When we receive confirmation from your Plan Manager, we will ship you your order.

  • NDIA Managed Funds

    Access Tech can submit a claim to the NDIS for you. To place an online order using NDIA Managed Funds:

    1. At checkout, fill out your standard information – including billing and shipping details.
    2. Select Pay using NDIS Funds as your payment method and enter your NDIS Participant details.
    3. Select the NDIA-managed option.
    4. Click the place order button at the end of the checkout page.
    5. We will submit a claim to the NDIS using your plan details.
    6. When we receive confirmation from the NDIS, we will ship you your order.

  • Self-Managed

    You can make your purchases on the Access Tech website using the Credit Card or Afterpay option. Then submit your claim to the NDIS and receive your payment.
